Fender 1960 Duo Sonic 7/8 Neck Red With Gold Anodised Pickguard Guitar – SOLD

Out of stock

Here for sale is a Fender 1960 Pre CBS Duo Sonic Guitar in Red.

The guitar features the original 7/8 short scale neck which has 21 frets. The neck is Neck is 1.536mm wide at the nut, with a 7.25″ fretboard radius and a 22” scale length. It is made of highly treasured Brazilian Rosewood. It also has the original tuning keys. The neck is absolutely exquisite to play and hold. It has had a refret so it plays wonderfully in every position. The guitar is highly addictive to play and you will not miss the 22 fret 24 scale when you have this by your side.

The body is red, and the paint appears old, and has beautiful ageing and a natural relic appearance. There were a handful of factory red finishes that came out during this time period as opposed to the usual Desert Sand. Could this be one of the unicorn like reds that made it through? Either way the guitar looks incredible.

It has been complimented with an aged Gold Anodized Pickguard and two roadworn control knobs to complete the look. It has a set of Seymour Duncan Antiquity Duo Sonic Pickups which are superb.

An absolute fantastic guitar and your chance to own an actual 1960 pre CBS Fender!
