This guitar was part of a special run that Fender manufactured for a limited time in 2012 with top of the line parts and construction, with some revolutionary features. This Stratocaster has the S-1 circuit where the first volume control has a button sunk inside it which when pushed in gives you an extra five sounds in addition to the classic five normal Stratocaster sounds. When activated in the bridge position all three pickups work together, for an unbelievably great sound, the 2nd position gives you the bridge and middle pickups together, the middle position gives you the middle pick up and the neck together, position four gives you the bridge and middle pickups out of phase in parallel and the fifth position gives you the middle and neck pickups out of phase in series. This gives a massive range of sounds taking the Stratocaster into completely new territory with stunning results. The N3 Noiseless pickups give you all the clarity and tone while preventing extraneous noise and hum that can sometimes be a problem with regular Stratocaster. The guitar also has a push in tremolo arm, the tremolo can move both up and down is very sensitive so you can get great tremolo bends with a very tiny touch which is great fun to use and gives greater control over the tremolo. This Strat weighs 3.795KG and the guitar has a very comfortable C Shape neck contour and the ROSWOD fingerboard is superb. The fretboard has a 7.25″ radius and the approximate thickness of the neck at the 1st fret is 2cm / 0.13″ and the same at the 12th fret. The guitar is in great condition, there are some dings under the lower neck pocket and a small ding on the side, but this just gives it more Rock ‘N’ Roll character and allows you to relax and enjoy the guitar. The finish is absolutely stunning in the Ice Blue Metallic complemented by a Stainless Steel pickguard, a seriously cool combination. The guitar is complete with all the Fender paperwork and the G & G case is made in the USA of the best quality. A truly game-changing guitar.
