Terms & Conditions
Contract
A contract between the customer and Guitarsmith will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and despatched. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Every reasonable care has been taken to ensure that the products’ descriptions and colour matching are accurate. However, the reproduction of colours is only as accurate as photographic and publishing processes will allow and sometimes slight variations might occur due to the nature of the guitar’s finish and ageing of the materials.
We strive to get you the requested item in good time. However, on the rare occasion that there might be a delay caused by the delivery company or a country’s customs clearance, we will inform you but we cannot be held responsible.
Countries outside the EU may have import charges that you would have to pay before collecting your item. It is advisable to check the costs before making a purchase.
Availability and Prices of our products are subject to change without notice.
The Terms above are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be conducted only by the Courts of England and Wales.

Return & Refund Policy
If you decide to return an item bought from our website and other platforms, you must do so within 7 days of receipt, at your own expense, for a refund minus the original shipping costs. We also reserve the right to charge a 15% restocking fee of the total sale price. The item must not have been damaged, altered or tampered with under any circumstances, including changing strings, and in the exact condition it was shipped out in. In the unlikely event the item has been damaged in transit you must retain all the original packaging and provide photos if required, for a full refund which is dependable on the courier accepting the claim. If the courier does not accept the damage claim then a refund will be only possible to the amount minus the cost of a repair or replacement if a repair is not possible. Please note, you are responsible for the product while it is in your possession, so we highly recommend insurance if you send it back to us.
Please note, all guitars are sold as seen. We try our best to show the guitar’s condition in the photos but this is not always possible to every detail. Each guitar is set up to the shop standard playing style and as we all know; each player is different and so are the unique guitars we sell. If it is not set up to your liking e.g string height and gauge, then this is not an accepted cause for complaint, as is finding some kind of imperfection that we may or may not have mentioned. We sell used guitars, not museum pieces! If you are looking for a perfect guitar that you will worry about damaging and hang on the wall, we advise you to buy new! So be rock ‘n’ roll! lml
